Abstract
This paper describes a development of a simulation system that clarifies the relation between vehicle body stiffness and vehicle dynamics, and also introduces the results of an analysis using the system. Vehicle dynamics simulation was performed using a handling and stability analyzing method that combines a suspension model for mechanism analysis and an elastic vehicle body model for finite element method. As a result, an effect of vehicle body reinforcement was confirmed.
