Abstract
Nowadays, more improved and complicated design requirements are demanded for RV. Package layout for space efficiency and rear impact protection, as well as controllability and stability, are essential for these kinds of vehicle. A new developed multi-link rear suspension system is proposed. A system composed of two upper control links, a single lower link and a trailing can make lower rear side members and rear floor height about 30mm ~ 50mm than competitors. Enlarged interior space and flat floor can be possible, and rear impact protection can be enhanced as well..
