Abstract

It is well known that the design cost is only 10% of the product cost almost 90% of total cost is decided in the design stage. From this standpoint, the road simulators in the laboratory that can reduce the test period have become a common tool for evaluation of vehicle system durability performance. These simulators need appropriate input signal to simulate the actual driving condition. But there are some special events that can be not simulated in the laboratory, because of the rig limitation and the difference of laboratory from actual road. Therefore, in this paper, method to regenerate various these maneuver events was suggested by data editing and some technique.
