Abstract:
The real-time test and analysis system based on the four wheels automobile braking test bed is developed. It can test and analysis the brake performance of a motor vehicle with or without Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) or Sensotronic Brake Control (SBC). The analog signals of the wheel cylinder´s hydraulic pressure sensors are converted and tested by the A/D with 8 channels and 12 bits and 100 kHz. The digital signals of the wheel and the roller speed sensors and the braking torque sensors are counted and measured by the counter/timer with 18 channels and16 bits. This system is developed with the Labview7. The experiment method and data processing are carried through according to the National Standards. The real-time measuring and analyzing parameters include a braking distance, a braking time, the max/min braking torque, the max/min braking force, a slip rate of each wheel, a braking deceleration and a braking intensity, the change of pressure in pipe, the max/min hydraulic pressure of brake wheel cylinder, the locking and slipping of the wheels, and the variety laws and frequencies of the braking-torque and hydraulic pressure. This system has characteristics such as automatic quick and accurate of testing and analyzing, beautiful and neatness of interface, operating convenient and so on. Its practicability is very good. Its apply scope may be further generalized.
