Abstract:

Losing roll stability of the double-decker during operation is an important problem that needs to be paid more attention. This paper will present a method for determining the roll oscillation of the double-decker under the change of vehicle speed and steering wheel angle with circulative type based on which the roll-oscillation amplitude of the vehicle’s center of gravity would be determined. The initial calculations for the dynamic simulation field would provide basic understandings for using double-decker (DDB) in Vietnam.
