Abstract
Ferrography is a technique that provides microscopic examination and analysis of wear particles separated from all types of fluids. The particles contained in the lubricating oil carry detailed and important information about the condition of the machine especially in the Diesel Engine. This information may be deduced from particle shape, composition, size distribution, and concentration. Base on all the information we can predict the imminent behaviour of the 3408 Vehicular Engine for CAT 769C Truck used in Coc Sau Company- Quang Ninh. This article provides techniques that facilitate wear particle analysis.
