Abstract
ADI (Austempered Ductile Iron) is special Ductile Iron applied recently to replace forging steel in the world automotive industry in general, internal combustion such as : Crankshaft, camshaft… in particular, due to best combination of low cost, design flexible, high strength to weight ratio and good resistance, fatigue strength. This paper introduces heat treatment process of ADI, the result of research and experiment this material. The result enables to produce crankshaft of turbocharged diesel engine, improve camshaft design.
