Abstract
Brush-plating deposits are applied at much faster rate than those achived in tank plating. With proper surface preparation the quality of the deposit is equivalent or superior to good tank classic electroplating practice. The brush-plating deposit have a dense, pore-free and uniform crystalline structure. The adhesion force eceeds the yield and tensile strength on a microlevel for the base materials. The influence of tropical climate with changing humidity and temperature on the tribological parameters of brush-plating coatings are investigated. The polluted compositions of environment are also the important factors. The results of experimental investigation on the influence of tropical climate are presented.
