Abstract
For the last few years, the need of agriculture mechanization in Vietnam becomes higher with every passing day. However, transportation–mechanization means like a multi purpose vehicle in the rural areas, as well as farming machines and rural transportation haven’t met up with the basic requirements of the farmer and haven’t been correspondent with the contribution which agriculture has given to the nation’s economy. The content of this paper is to research a means of transportation for Southern rural areas (SRAs) which has simple structure, is easy to assemble and adequate to local technology level and has multi purpose such as transporting agricultural products and materials, working with other machines and having reasonable cost which suits farmer’s payment ability. This multi purpose vehicle should also be easy for usage, for maintenance and meet the requirements of Transportation Ministry and Agriculture and Rural Development Ministry.
