Abstract
The article deals with a method which enables objective comparison of different vehicles with respect to their technical parameters. The method was developed for the needs of the Army of the Czech Republic, as means of facilitating decision making in the acquisitions process. The method is based on application of the Saaty´s method of a characteristics vector. The method enables to objectify expert assessments of significance of individual vehicle parameters. The authors describe main principles of the method and demonstrate practical usage of the method for objective comparison technical parameters different vehicles.
