Abstract
Recently, oil hydraulic system of heavy construction equipment requires high efficiency, capacity for environmental and noise regulations, so in order to achieve these characteristics, studies on compactness of the system, operation under high speed and high pressure, electronic control, substitute oil, and noise reduction have been carried out briskly. Of the requirements above, operation under high pressure has been studied continuously, but the realization of it is hard because of the mechanical limitation. For operation under high pressure, designing skills of mechanism of the system, material, and surface treatment, manufacturing technique for dimensional accuracy, fine surface roughness, and improvement of the lubrication performance of operation fluid are required. In this study, in order to correspond to this demand for high pressure, stress distribution according to pressure to find optimal designing factor is discussed through the static stress analysis of the cylinder block of oil hydraulic axial piston pump, which is one of important relative sliding regions
