Abstract
Computer-Aided-Engineering (CAE) analyses of a vehicle body structure's rigidity, strength, NVH, collision, and vehicle dynamics have been performed with using different analysis models owing partly to differences in the timing of those analyses and partly to software capability. Recently, in the development of the vehicle, the process revolution which make digitalization core have progressed, and efficient generation of the analysis models have become important more and more for getting timely the overall CAE result.
This paper describes the modeling technique which create Common Model by devising modeling within the restriction of software and computer capability. In addition, we describe the result of confirming the effectiveness by using it to develop a mini-sized car.
