Abstract
Braking of heavy-duty vehicles /10-40 tons/, needs high-level attention to aspects of safety conditions on road, because of the relatively complicated air-brake system.
Air-brake systems have lots of structural elements with increased maintenance requirements and fault possibil it ies.
Therefore, the fault possibility of an air-brake system is higher, than -as an example - a hydraulic brake system has. Moreover the safety conditions on road of air-brake systems have utmost importance.
