Abstract
Computer simulations become more and more significant factor in the estimation of structural dynamic parameters of vehicle frame structures (buses) as well as in prediction of fatigue properties. However computer simulations need the validation (parameter identification) of the (mainly FE) model. To determine these parameters in a laboratory environment (e.g. non-linearity study) typical (kinematic) excitation signals are generated by a servohydraulic testing system. Accelerated fatigue tests can be conducted with the help of a pulsator on the object itself or on a part or the instead of expensive road or test track measurements.
This paper presents the determination of mechanical parameters of actuators (force, velocity, power and their frequency dependencies) in case of deterministic (Altoona Test Track road profile) excitation.
