ABSTRACT
The application of formal Systems Engineering principles has been identified as a solution to the challenges caused by dramatically increasing Electronic/Electrical (E/E) design complexity. E/E design is multi discipline in nature (software, hardware, network communications, and electrical), posing special difficulties. Rigorous tool support for SE principles is patchy, and is poorly applied in the electrical discipline especially. This paper examines the development of tools that concretely and pragmatically address these issues.
