ABSTRACT –
Computer vision based vehicle intelligent front light system attracts many research focuses recently. Vehicle lamp recognition is the main task of the system while sensing the front on road vehicles. The purpose of this paper is to present proposals of detecting and tracking front vehicle lamps. The detailed processes and some algorithms of this proposal are provided. The examination shows that these algorithms work well in regular urban traffic conditions at night except for some terrible situations such as wet weather, reflecting road, et al.
