ABSTRACT –
Steer-by-wire system can acquire continuously variable steering ratio, but time delay produced by steering motor because of command execution will affect vehicle stability. A research on .stability state for steer-by-wire in loop anti-rollover control because of the delay time is presented on this paper. A vehicle and steer-by-wire simulation model is built. Then an antirollover control is descried and a testing platform is built. Based on china highway condition, the delay because of motor command execution is analyzed. Compared testing results with 7, 10 and 15 ms of delay interval of motor serial instruction input, the smaller delay of command execution is and the longer time to reach stability needs . And the smaller delay is, the larger amplitudes of state parameters are. And the delay will affect vehicle stability more seriously at later stage. Those will be useful for emergent rollover control of steer-by-wire.
