ABSTRACT
100 customers in Korea have been monitored for over 1 year using “Smartphone customer monitoring system”. Based on the sales information of Hyundai motor co., the types of vehicles, sample size for monitoring were statistically determined. In this study, among approximately 40~60 channels(CAN, Acceleration, GPS, Gyro) that have been measured, the cumulative fatigue damages of brake pedals during the target life have been calculated using master cylinder pressure data. The concepts of pseudo damages, equivalent Amplitudes were introduced to represent complex rainflow matrices into single scalar values. The distributions of customer usages were modeled into a log-normal through probability plot. Not only design loads representing a certain severe customer have been obtained, but also the uncertainties that data might contain have shown with the results.
