ABSTRACT - In this study, we propose a technique for improving the clutch durability and the efficiency of the power train system based on our analysis of the torque change occurring at the instant engagement of a wet dual-clutch transmission (DCT) clutch. Experimental conditions studied include the flow-rate volume of the DCT fluid (DCTF)inside the clutch pack, oil temperature, and engagement revolutions per minute (RPM). We compare the optimal oil-flow rate and oil temperature conditions by comparatively analysing the steady change of torque after delay and the torque-transfer engagement time at high and low speeds. We confirmed the varied consequences with respect to the engagement RPM, DCTF flow rate, and temperature
