ABSTRACT –
Recently CVT are widely adapted by car makers and there’s a need to shorten the product development time. Jatco have been using CAE tools to improve the development time. However, in order to make full use of this tool, it is necessary to have a sufficient understanding of simulation theories. For that reason, part design engineers ask simulation experts to conduct simulations for them. Therefore, it takes much time, and another issue is that the number of experts is limited. In order to resolve these issues, we focused on the automation of simulations and developed automated simulation systems utilizing simulation expert knowledge for some of simulation related to CVT development. In this paper, detail of the new automated simulation system is described.
