ABSTRACT - This paper is mainly based on 2015 China Formula SAE competition to design and manufacture a formula that meets the requirements of the competition for the purpose of the study. The design, optimization, fabrication and debugging of the key components, including general layout, electronic control system, steering system, frame and so on, are discussed in detail, and the problems in the whole process are explored and the solutions are put forward. The general layout group determines the performance targets. All of the components are manufactured by qualitative materials and then use the finite element analysis to ensure the reliability of the using process With the help of the design software to complete the design work, the use of the relevant equipment for parts processing, and finally the whole vehicle is assembled.
