ABSTRACT
The work considers the basic trends of development of modern mechanical transmissions. We have developed 8-, 12- and 16-stage transmissions with automatic control for advanced trucks and buses. The paper shows basic parameters of the developed transmissions received on the basis of innovative technical solutions. It contains the scheme of creating unified standard series of multi-stage gearboxes. It considers design features of the developed transmissions. The article describes determining schemes and design solutions underlying the creation of this family of transmissions. The article contains the results of experimental research performed both on the test stand and on the road, as well as comparison with theoretical data and its validation.
