ABSTRACT-A proper sound package can effectively absorb and insulate the noise generated from the power train and wheels .Thus it is a better way to control the transfer path through the cab if properly improved and optimized. Based on distinguishing some main sound sources, transfer contribution characteristics and response in this paper, an experimental method combined complete vehicle with components to optimize the inner sound package was applied. Then the proper material is adapted after matching data base. Finally the result shows that the carpet modification was fulfilling the target, meanwhile the method to optimize carpet is validated through the actual loads well.
