ABSTRACT – A new enhanced algorithm has been proposed to the in-vehicle Bluetooth hands-free device in the field of echo cancellation and noise suppression, which provides a robust phone call quality under a highly noisy vehicle environment. As a result of the application of the enhanced algorithm and a developed module, this paper shows the areas in which ambient noise is particularly reduced, such as HVAC blower noise and vehicle wind noise from open windows in a driving vehicle.
