ABSTRACT

This paper presents experience of the authors in the fields of calculation, design, execution and experimental research of automotive composite materials components, reinforced with carbon fiber.
It is also developed technology applied for the rapid formation of composite parts. Optimized in Transilvania University laboratories, this technology can be applied in industrial processes. Methodologies developed for different structures of composite materials and configurations of the parts have been validated by experimental research undertaken on samples and finished products. The methodology for obtaining automotive components made of composite material winding space technology is innovative and is an important step in the development of technologies forming components with complex geometry. Part of the test results are analyzed through experiments and accumulated experience and new space technology concept served by robots and manipulators is presented with sufficient technical details.
The working parameters, production cadence sequences forming process, polymerization and deburring recorded result of the research are summarized. Computing model proposed application and manufacturing technology designed and built was made for components of the steering column of the car structure. Results, pictures and models presented in the paper, come to complete certain technical and technological informations.
