ABSTRACT –
The PBT(Polybutylene terephthalate) as the materials of headlamp bezel is widely used in a reason having peculiar quality like thermal resistance, evaporation coating, low moisture absorption, etc. But gas emission from the materials make mold contamination(mold deposit), poor evaporation coating in a manufacturing process for bezel. Especially, it has caused the problem, lens haze in the conditions of a sealed and high temperature. We studied what each component’s role is in terms of properties of demand for lamp bezel materials and tried to look for substances that could replace components causing gas emission.
