ABSTRACT

Our fuel injection system consists of throttle body, electronic control unit (ECU) and tuning software. The throttle body integrates multiple sensors and actuators as a whole. By development of advanced control strategies, the ECU has better air fuel control to improve emissions and drivability under different operating of engine. We design the control method of accurate ignition timing for enabling the use of conventional single-notch crankshaft. The hierarchical modular software design for system debugging and engine tuning is capable for different small combustion engines. A series of comprehensive tests including electromagnetic compatibility tests and environmental tests as well as performance tests are conducted by following the standards to prove the design.
