Abstract

ABSTRACT –

Generally the Cu-Zeolite SCR shows good NOx conversion performance at temperature range 200-450°C. Raw NOx emission from diesel engine can be reduced by Cu-Zeolite SCR with NH3 which is formed by decomposition of Urea. New Cu zeolite SCR is improved the characteristics of NH3 adsorption and desorption as well as NOx conversion at low temperature range. NH3 fill up and conversion rate were studied by 12L Euro 5 cert. engine and NOx conversion was performed by 3.9 L Euro 4 cert. engine.
New Cu zeolite SCR is suitable for the HDD vehicle with low temperature operating conditions. It is expected to meet Euro 6 emission legislation.
