Abstract
An automated manual transmission (AMT) takes over a lot of tasks from the driver. Hence it is important that the AMT performs at its best. Clutch judder is a limitation for driveline performance, especially during drive-off and maneuvering the vehicle. Thus significantly reducing clutch judder, enables a further optimization of the drive-off software functionality. This paper presents a solution for the clutch judder present in heavy duty trucks and the further advancements on the drive-off functionality.
