The Modeling of Gasoline Permeation through New Polymeric Materials

Abstract

There are several challenges of automobile industry development. One of the most evident ways is the reducing car weight by using polymeric materials for the construction of the main vehicle’s components. The only question for using new polymeric materials is the saving the safety level of the components. For example for plastic fuels tank or fuel lines have to be non permeable for fuel. The purpose of this work is the modelling of gasoline permeation thought the polymeric parts of auto components.
