Abstract

Model-driven engineering is an emerging technique in automotive industry allowing for the design and simulation of control software, the automatic generation of the embedded software, linking models to test equipment, etc. The method gains attention in industry as shorter design cycles and better software quality can be expected. Therefore, students need to be prepared to this change in technology. In this paper, we will explore educational approaches and project cases to introduce automotive embedded software development by means of model-driven engineering at master level.
