Abstract
This article presents the experimental and numerical analysis of gases flow through the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR). Presented technical changes are the result from the application of the new prototype valve, which is the main component of the exhaust gas recirculation system in agricultural tractor’s diesel engine. The purpose of the exhaust gas recirculation valve is controlling the flow rate of the exhaust gas supplied to the intake manifold and then into the combustion chamber. The relation between the emission of nitric oxide and emission of soot particles and the degree of EGR valve opening has been showed.
