Abstract
Many car brands see health & well-being as the next step after safety in the continuous improvement of the automotive environment. Therefore, as a health & well-being company, we started a study to identify and develop concepts for this emerging topic. Based on literature, trends and brainstorms many ideas were generated. By sorting and combining them we have identified eight topic clusters, which range from “taking care of yourself on the go” to “providing mobile emergency care”. Subsequently example concepts for each cluster were generated, which were ranked and enriched by means of interviews with car companies and healthcare experts. Based on this feedback three topics have been elaborated further and used as concepts in an international consumer study with 1440 participants.
