Abstract
The article is about large work on hybrid vehicle technology being carrying out at Moscow State Technical University “MAMI”. Within the frames of the project engineers developed and built a special all-wheel-drive chassis 8x8 with electric transmission. Being constructed on the base of a heavy 4-axle truck it has a powerful diesel electric powerplant and individual electric motors for each wheel. Selected scheme provides high dynamic performance which was successfully proven on the test ground.
