Abstract

In recent years, the number of the traffic accident in Japan is decreasing. However it is still in a high level now. So it is necessary for the car safety technology to prevent the accident in advance. In this paper, we’ve paid attention to a frontal collision accidents and try to propose the support system that help a driver make avoidance when the obstacle suddenly appears in forward direction. The effect of the system that uses DYC and traffic road environmental information is verified with a driving simulator. Our previous research presented collision avoidance support system which uses Direct Yaw Moment Control System (DYC). In this paper, it works following target trajectory and target yaw rate. And, we research effects of support system on driver's obstacle avoidance behavior.
