Abstract
To prevent traffic accidents, The Communication-using-type Safety Driving Assist Systems (CSDAS) that uses the inter-vehicle communication (IVC) is under devolopment. The actual driving experiment on real roads is a typical effect of CSDAS. Therefore, it is necessary to supplement with other techniques to demonstrate whether to approve when the road condition and driver's condition change. In this paper, The driving action of the recognition, the judgment, and the operation of the driver was modeled. Mounted on traffic simulator to simulate such a model, the best range of the communication of the IVC was examined. After the experiment in the simulator, proving the validity of the simulator by comparing the results of experiments in a driving simulator.
