Abstract
V2X wireless communication has been developed for the utilization of automotive safety application. In Japan, 700MHz frequency band is considered for this type of communication. We have studied about the antenna and its installation on to vehicle, since it will be big issue considering actual deployment. We studied about the antenna location, small antenna installed at interior rear view mirror, desirable polarization and its improvement by diversity. The lab room test, simulation and real road test were performed for these evaluations. The result tells the possibility to use interior rear view mirror antenna for 700MHz V2X communication.
