Study of Safety Driving Assistant System using Audio-Visual Alert

Abstract

Safety driving assist systems are classified into three phases as paying attentions for driver, alerting the dangerous situations and urgent avoiding operations according to the amount of the emergency. The items of these systems are composed with visual and auditory devices depending on the human sensitivities. In this paper, for assisting and letting the driver to pay attention for recognizing the surroundings and to notice for the traffic situation and also to decide to make more safety driving, the driving assistant systems are designed with audio-visual alert and verified the effects of these systems for old drivers.
