Abstract
Aggressive driver behaviors causing potentially danger are discussed in this paper. In order to establish the aggressive behavior identification and evaluation algorithms, this paper firstly establish a hierarchical driver behavior model. Based on this, the identification algorithm is proposed, which transfers the complex multi-factor and multi-type pattern recognition problem into simple problem with fewer factors so as to determine whether and what aggressive behaviors have occurred. Furthermore, this paper develops the driver behavior risk index evaluation method with the introduction of equivalent acceleration weight estimation method, making a comprehensive evaluation of driver behavior. The algorithms are verified through Driving Simulator experiment and Video Drive Recorder experiment in naturalistic traffic environment.
