Abstract

Indian Consumers desire for more interior room in their vehicle when compared with their anthropometric size. This tendency comes from their large family system and previous experiences with Santro & Wagon R. So, It is challenging for an engineer to set up optimal interior room specifications as these types of customer needs are subjective in nature. In this paper, Optimal head room, leg room and shoulder room for Indian market has been analyzed taking into consideration the Indian Customers’ subjective satisfacitions using ANOVA and Multinomial Logistic Regression analysis.
