Using internal combustion engines in driving auto vehicles depends on natural resources such petro and gas, which have a significant environmental impact. Forward-looking technologies are trying to develop hybrid electric vehicle (HEV), typically featuring both an internal combustion engine and an electric motor, aiming for better fuel economy and lower pollutant emissions. The automotive manufacturers are spending a lot of financial and human resources to design and develop HEV`s, with great attention to optimization of the vehicle energy management. Despite all of this, there still remains a great deal of research to be done regarding designing, developing and optimization a hybrid electric vehicle.

The present paper aims to present a model in order to simulate the operation of TTR hybrid architecture, trying to find and emphasize the strengths and weaknesses of that architecture on an allwheel- drive HEV.
