The paper broaches the problem of improving the maintenance of the braking and rolling systems of a Bucharest fleet of taxi passenger cars on the basis of a reliability study. The less reliable components have been detected and their failures have been analyzed. Taking into account the risks, a program of preventive maintenance with scheduled replacement of the weak parts of these systems was conceived.
