Abstract

Keywords: anatomy, collision, experimentation, injury, safety

This paper investigates the injury of the human body in the cars collisions. In road traffic, especially in urban traffic, numerous rear collisions have taken place, resulting in serious injuries for passengers. The numerous studies that have been carried out lead to todays internationally recognized demand on the car driver’s head restraint adjustment for an optimal protection of the neck spinal column (HWS) with regard to rear end collisions. The most important fact is to determine the connection between the movement of the human body and injury risk of the driver and passenger during the collision period. The most important factor is the knowledge of the cinematic movement in the time of collision impact of a human as the driver. This is the first step of the investigation of researchers for determining which value of influencing parameters is most dangerous for the human safety. In the real traffic is highly important to establish the threshold limits speed of any type of car for which the risk of injurious is very high.
