Abstract
The paper describes a structure and basic parameters as well as possible application of computer system for measurement, data storage and analysis of high speed parameters connected with operation of IC engine. The system was designed and made in Department of Internal Combustion Engine and Automobiles in Radom Technical University. The system was used for examination of SI engine and CI engine. Diagrams presented in the paper show some results of measurement as well as results of analysis of them. The system enabled examination of application of alternative fuels for CI engine. In case of SI engine some measurements performed with the use of the system gave the information about the possibility of lean fuel-air mixture application.
