Abstract

Vehicle multibody dynamic model is presented that capture the essential riding and handling dynamic response of an automobile on an arbitrary surface in R 3 space. The model has the least amount of 10 degrees of freedom and could be also four-wheel steering. The suspension components could be represent with lumped mass model or swing arm model. Multibody formalism is used to automatically generate the mathematical model in a form of non- linear differential equations. Some handling manoeuvres are numerically studied on chosen surfaces in R 3 space.
