Abstract
o With the increasing importance of vehicle availability, core components of the driveline, such as engine and transmission, are moving into focus.
o For the transmission, major overhauls can be planned thanks to operating data recordings and the transmission software.
o Making use of these tools in combination with special features as e.g. extended oil change intervals the part of the bus´ LCC caused by the transmission can be minimized.
