The utilization of multibody simulation tools in motorcycle design is continuously growing and is becoming as widespread as in the other branches of automotive engineering. This work presents a multi-body software specifically developed for assisting the motorcycle design process, which integrates a parametric multi-body model of the motorcycle, an integrated road-tire model specific for motorcycles, and a virtual rider. These aspects are illustrated in details respectively in the first, second, and third section of the paper. Finally, several examples of simulations are presented and discussed with some experimental tests, which prove the reliability of the software.
