Abstract
This paper describes an application of Quenching simulations at automatic transmissions parts. With the aim of improving customer satisfaction, activities are under way at manufacturing automatic transmissions to shorten the periods for product development and production preparations.
The purpose of this research is to apply the optimization data on the linear thermal expansion coefficient and transformation strain obtained recently for the bending distortion of a continuously variable transmission (CVT) pulley.
These customized quenching simulations begin to apply for the product development.
