ABSTRACT
The paper presents some constructive solutions for rear axle suspension which use functional parts made by composite materials. The advantages of the concept of the multi-functionality about these solutions can be seen. Nowadays the adopting of the front traction solution permits more constructive solutions using composite materials for the rear axle.
Here we shall present some solutions:
• Suspensions with torsion longitudinal bars
• Suspensions with drawn arms
• Other different solutions where the composite material blade participates in the trains’ geometry.
To obtain a variable flexibility there must be some constructive associations between the composite material blades with rubber blocks having known evolution law, fitted up on the dampers or on the links and supported by the blades.
