ABSTRACT
The objectives of the paper are: the identification of the main problems in the test simulation for the physical tests of the protective structure of tractors and farm machinery; establishing the procedure for solving the simulation problems of the physical tests; establishing the limits of the computer simulation of these tests. The main conclusions of this paper are the following: the tests of the protective structure can be simulate by the computer using the Structural Analysis, with respecting the tests order; it is necessary to take into account the non-linear elastic-plastic materials models because the structure absorbed energy, recommended by the OCDE STANDARD, cannot be absorbed if the structure works only in linear-elastic regime; we give a procedure to design a protective structure, using the progressive structural modeling, which allows the achieving of the OCDE STANDARD requirement.
